3.4.3.2. Removal and installation

GENERAL INFORMATION

THE GENERATOR OF ENGINES 2,0 AND 2,6 L (WITHOUT THE CONDITIONER)

The generator of engines 2,0 and 2,6 of l (without the conditioner)

1. Sockets

2. Generator

3. Washers

4. Axial bolt

5. Level

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Switch off ignition and disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Release bolts of the generator and remove a drive belt. On a part of cars it is required to remove the pump of the hydraulic booster.
3. Disconnect generator conducting (previously having marked). Unscrew nuts of terminal connections.
4. Turn out an adjusting bolt and a nut of an axial bolt, take measures against loss of washers between the generator and an engine cover (are established on a part of cars).
5. Get an axial bolt and remove the generator.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish the generator in a place. If the new unit is established, pick up new washers on thickness. For this purpose shchupy check a gap between a forward cover, having submitted the generator forward. If a gap more than 0,2 mm, pick up washers so that they sliped under small effort between a cover and a back surface of the bottom arm.
2. Insert an axial bolt and screw a nut.
3. Wrap an adjusting bolt and pull a belt. Tighten an adjusting bolt with the moment of 12-13 N of m and an axial bolt – with the moment of 20-24 N of m.
4. Establish all removed details.

THE GENERATOR OF ENGINES 2,0 AND 2,6 L (WITH THE CONDITIONER)

The generator of engines 2,0 and 2,6 of l (with the conditioner)

1. Tube of a high pressure

2. Tube of low pressure

3, 5. Socket

4. Compressor

6. Generator

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Depressurize the conditioner highway, having addressed in car-care center.
2. Disconnect from the compressor of a tube and the socket. Immediately muffle openings. Unscrew axial and adjusting bolts, remove a belt of a drive and the compressor, take him aside.
3. Release bolts of the generator and remove a drive belt. Designate and disconnect sockets.
4. Turn out top, and then the bottom bolt, having taken measures against loss of adjusting washers. Remove the generator.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish the generator in a place, insert the bottom bolt and pick up washers of the bottom bolt on thickness so that the generator could keep and was displaced aside under small effort. Tighten both bolts and pull a belt. Tighten the bottom bolt with the moment of 13 N of m and the top bolt – with the moment of 28 N of m. Attach wires.
2. Establish the compressor upside-down. At first slightly tighten a belt, having submitted the compressor by hand, without tightening bolts, then tighten bolts. Pull a belt, rotating an adjusting bolt. Immediately fill the highway with a coolant in car-care center.
3. If belts changed, through 80–160 km again check their tension and adjust.

DIESEL ENGINE

Diesel engine generator

1, 6. Oil pipeline

2. Vacuum hose

3. Level bolt

4. Belt

5. Axial bolt

7. Plug B

8. Socket

Removal of a cover of the generator

1. Rotor

2. Shovel

3. Ring

4. Case

Correct installation of blades of the pump

1. Rounding off

Correct installation of the case of the pump

Submit the pump in the arrow direction

Conditions of a tightening of a bolt

1. Forward cover

2. Bolt

3. For measurement of a gap to submit the generator on an arrow

The gap And should be compensated before a bolt tightening.
Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Switch off ignition and disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Disconnect a wire from the plug B on the generator.
3. Disconnect from the vacuum pump hoses.
4. Unscrew a lock bolt, a nut of the bottom bolt and remove a belt.
5. Unscrew a through bolt and remove the generator assembled with the pump.
6. Unscrew bolts and carefully remove the pump.
7. Check a condition of shovels of the pump, a ring and an epiploon.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is carried out upside-down.
2. Installation of blades with the slightest defects is not allowed.
3. Establish the pump case according to a photo (see fig. Correct installation of the case of the pump).
4. At first attach a hose to the pump then establish the generator.
5. Compensate a gap And (if it is more than 0,2 mm), having established a washer.
6. Pull a belt.

ENGINES OF 2,4 L AND 12-KLAPANNY 3,0 L

Generator of engines of 2,4 l

1. Adjusting bolt
2. Lock bolt
3. Belt
4. Axial bolt
5. Generator

Generator of the 12-klapanny engine of 3,0 l

1. Adjusting bolt
2. Cover
3. Lock bolt
4. Belt
5. Axial bolt
6. Generator

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Switch off ignition and disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Release bolts and remove a belt. If it is necessary to replace a belt, remove the pump of the hydraulic booster.
3. Disconnect generator conducting (previously having marked). Unscrew nuts of terminal connections.
4. Unscrew a nut bottom bolts and an adjusting bolt. Remove the generator.

Installation

Installation is carried out upside-down. Pull a belt and tighten bolts with the moment specified an illustrations.
