Prevention

Familiarize with procedure of removal of a gear belt.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Establish the piston of the 1st cylinder in VMT of a step of compression.
3. Merge liquid.
4. Remove the top casing of the fan.
5. Remove all belts, having weakened bolts of fastening of the corresponding unit.
6. Remove the fan and the inclusion coupling.
7. Remove a pump pulley.
8. Unscrew bolts and remove from a crankshaft sock pulleys.
9. Remove covers, weaken a natyazhitel and, without breaking crankshaft installation, remove a gear belt, having designated on it a piece of chalk the rotation direction.
10. Disconnect a hose, unscrew bolts and remove the pump.
11. Check a pump condition. At detection of damages of the case or a leak through a control opening the pump replace (to repair is not subject). Clear the demountable plane of the pump.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Installation is carried out upside-down taking into account the following:

  – replace laying of the pump and a sealing ring, having moistened it with water or liquid (not oil);
  – bolts of fastening of the pump tighten in 2 stages: bolts with marking "4"
  – with the moment of 14 N of m, bolts with marking "7" – 24 N of m;
  – dress a gear belt so that there was no weak point between asterisks of the crankshaft and the oil pump, or asterisks of the oil pump and a cam-shaft. Release a bolt of a natyazhitel and turn the crankshaft so that the asterisk of a cam-shaft was displaced on 2 teeth from an adjusting label. If the belt on a cam-shaft weakens, choose a weak point, having slightly displaced a natyazhitel down. Tighten bottom, then top bolts of a natyazhitel;
  – tighten bolts of covers of a belt with the moment of 11 N of m, a crankshaft bolt – 120 N of m, a small bolt of a pulley – 25 N of m, pulley and krylchatka nuts on the cooling pump – 11 N of m.


Upon termination of warm up the engine, restore level of liquid and adjust belts.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Merge liquid.
3. Disconnect from the pump a hose.
4. Remove the fan, the coupling and a pulley.
5. Unscrew bolts and remove the pump.
6. Check freedom of rotation of the roller and a condition of consolidations. At detection of damages of the case or a leak through a ventilating opening the pump replace (to repair is not subject).
7. Installation is carried out upside-down. Replace laying.

ENGINE OF 2,4 L

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Merge liquid.
3. Remove the top casing of the fan.
4. Remove all belts.
5. Disconnect from the pump a hose.
6. Unscrew bolts and remove from a crankshaft sock pulleys.
7. Establish the piston of the 1st cylinder in VMT of a step of compression, remove covers and a gear belt.
8. Unscrew bolts, having paid attention to their arrangement) and remove the pump.
9. Clear the demountable plane of the pump, check its condition. At detection of damages or a leak the pump replace (to repair is not subject).

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Installation is carried out upside-down taking into account the following:

  – replace laying of the pump and a sealing ring, having moistened it with water or liquid (not oil);
  – bolts of fastening of the pump tighten with the moment of 13 N of m;
  – establish and pull a gear belt of 2,0 l as it should be specified for the engine (see above).

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Merge liquid.
3. Disconnect from the pump a radiator hose.
4. Remove the top casing of the fan. Remove the fan and the coupling, the fan store in working situation.
5. Remove drive belts.
6. Remove a pump pulley.
7. Disconnect from the pump a heater hose.
8. Unscrew bolts, having paid attention to their arrangement, and remove the pump.
9. Clear the demountable plane of the pump, check its condition. At detection of damages or a leak the pump replace (moistening of a control opening) is allowed.
10. Installation is carried out upside-down. Replace laying. Bolts of fastening of the pump tighten with the moment of 21 N of m in stages. Pull belts.

ENGINE OF 3,0 L


Prevention

At pump removal on 6-cylinder engines designate all bolts which establish on the places. The asterisk of the crankshaft is pressed by means of a special stripper.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Execute a decompression. For this purpose disconnect the socket in a back part of a fuel tank, start the engine and after its stop switch off ignition.
2. Disconnect the battery from weight.
3. Merge liquid, remove the thermostat, disconnect the top hose of a radiator, perepuskny a hose, remove a fan casing.
4. Remove the fan and the coupling.
5. Remove drive belts.
6. Remove a pump pulley.
7. Remove the pump of the hydraulic booster and arms. Take the pump aside, without disconnecting from the highway.
8. Remove an arm of a natyazhitel.
9. Remove the conditioner compressor. Take the unit aside, without disconnecting from the highway, and fix. Remove a compressor arm.
10. Remove a fan arm.
11. Establish the piston of the 1st cylinder in VMT of a step of compression, remove covers, release bolts of a natyazhitel and remove a gear belt, having designated the rotation direction.
12. Unscrew bolts, having paid attention to their arrangement, and remove the pump.
13. Remove a branch pipe and clear the demountable plane of the pump, check its condition. At detection of damages or a leak the pump replace.
14. Installation is carried out upside-down. Replace all removed laying and a sealant. Belts establish and adjust, being guided by the description in appropriate sections. Bolts of fastening of the pump tighten with the moment of 27 N of m.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Execute a decompression. For this purpose disconnect the socket in a back part of a fuel tank, start the engine and after its stop switch off ignition.
2. Disconnect the battery from weight.
3. Merge liquid.
4. Remove a radiator with the top hose and a fan casing.
5. Remove the generator, the battery and a tray.
6. Remove the bottom guards of the engine.
7. Remove the fan, the coupling and a pump pulley.
8. Remove the conditioner compressor. Take the unit aside, without disconnecting from the highway, and fix. Remove a compressor arm.
9. Remove the pump of the hydraulic booster and arms. Take the pump aside, without disconnecting from the highway.
10. Remove forward covers and disconnect the socket from the sensor of rotation of the crankshaft.
11. A stripper press a crankshaft pulley.
12. Remove a gear belt. For this purpose execute the following:

  – combine labels on asterisks and on a head of cylinders;
  – release a bolt of a natyazhitel and designate on a belt the rotation direction.
13. Remove a natyazhitel, a roller and the lever.
14. Remove from the pump the top branch pipe and the thermostat.
15. Clear the demountable plane of the pump, check its condition. At detection of damages or a leak the pump replace.
16. Installation is carried out upside-down. Replace the removed laying and a sealant. Belts establish and adjust, being guided by the description in appropriate sections. Bolts of fastening of the pump tighten with the moment of 24 N of m in 2–3 stages, being displaced on the periphery. Napressuyte on the crankshaft a pulley by means of the special adaptation.
