The additional valve on Mitsubishi engines
On Mitsubishi engines of early releases the additional valve blocking a jet, screwed in the chamber of combustion and intended for formation of a stream of the gas mixture directed on a candle is provided to improve fuel combustion.
When dismantling a head of cylinders these valves should be removed first of all. The adaptation MD 998310 is for this purpose applied.
At a reversing of the valve of a jet the adaptation cannot be inclined, as cores of additional valves can be bent.

Attentively examine valves, check existence on facets of valves of cracks, traces of non-uniform development, ablation of metal and прогара. At development detection about an entrance in directing plug, ovality of end faces and reduction of width of a corbel against norms the valve replace.
Check length of springs and vertical position of springs (the deviation from a vertical no more than 2 ° is allowed). Springs with a usadka replace.
Additional valve of a jet
The worn-out additional valve changes assembled. For definition of its condition the valve can be disassembled (the adaptation) is required. If details in a satisfactory condition, replace only a maslosjemny cap of the valve.
After dismantling check wear of a core of the valve, at detection of traces of a burn-out and strong wear (is defined by rolling) the valve assembled replace. Collect the valve upside-down.
At installation tighten the valve with the moment of 18-20 N of m.
