Hydropushers are made with high precision, dust and dirt hit on them is not allowed.

3. Get a hydropusher.
4. Replace a pusher and establish details upside-down.

Check of rocking of a yoke on a hydropusher (except engines of 3,5 l)

At ringing knocks of pushers after engine start-up, or at the steady knocks accompanying operation of the engine, execute the following.

1. Check level of oil and its condition, if necessary replace oil. It is connected with that knocks can be caused by the air which has got to channels of pushers because of strong violation of level of oil, or its foaming.
2. It is possible to remove air from pushers repeated slow (during 30 seconds) with increase of turns to 3000 rpm (knocks gradually should disappear). Avoid long parking of the car with the idle engine, or parkings on slopes.

3. If to remove air in the specified way it is not possible, execute the following (on all engines):

  – expose the piston of the 1st cylinder in VMT of a step of compression;
  – press yokes specified by a light arrow, having chosen люфт between a valve end face;
  – turn the crankshaft on 360 ° and press yokes specified by a dark arrow, having chosen люфт between a valve end face;
  – press yokes in a place directly over a pusher. If in a pusher it is felt люфт, a pusher replace, having removed from it air, and repeat check. Люфт when rocking a yoke it should not be felt.

At absence люфта in pushers knock is caused by other reason.

Air removal

1. Ship a pusher in pure diesel fuel.
2. Press a wire of 4-5 times a ball, having removed air.
3. Press on a plunzher. If big resistance, a pusher in a normal state is felt, otherwise repeat pumping. If it is not possible to remove air, a pusher replace. Upon termination of store a pusher in working situation.
4. Check tightness of a hydropusher on the MD998440 device. For this purpose measure time demanded for a course of a plunzher on 1 mm, beginning from its shift on 0,2–0,5 mm. This time should be 4–20 pages. Otherwise a hydropusher replace.
