GENERAL INFORMATION

Corners of installation of forward wheels are checked and regulated only in car-care center.

Corner of a longitudinal inclination of an axis of turn

At violation of this corner the car badly "holds the road", and the wheel does not come back (or slowly comes back) to the provision of driving on a straight line after turn. It is regulated by moving of an axis of the top lever.

On considered cars this corner positive also should make 2°00 '-3°00' on and/m 1983-88 and 2°00 '-3°50' on and/m 1988-98.

Disorder of wheels

It is regulated by selection of washers (adjusting laying).

On considered cars this corner positive also should make 0°30 '-1°30' on and/m 1983-91, 0°10 '-1°10' on and/m 1992-94 and 0°17 '-1°17' on and/m 1998.

Corner of a convergence of wheels

It is regulated by change of length of steering draft at the weakened lock-nut.

The convergence is measured in mm, on considered cars the convergence of forward wheels positive and should be 2–9 mm on and/m 1983-91, 2–7 mm on and/m 1992-98.
