On considered cars folding CV JOINTS, – axial the DOJ (double-offset) or TJ (tripod) type, – c of inside and not folding, – BJ (Bierfiild type) or RJ (Rzeppa type), – from the outer side are established.

Regularly check a condition of covers of CV JOINTS, at the slightest visible damages covers immediately replace.

When dismantling CV JOINTS it is necessary to replace collars of covers and spring rings, keep in mind that these details are not interchangeable for models of different years of release and at their acquisition it is necessary to specify a code by the catalog.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Tripod type CV JOINT
1. Remove big and small collars and remove a hinge cover, having displaced it on a semi-axis.
2. Carefully remove a hinge holder.
3. Remove a lock ring and remove a crosspiece, wash out it, but do not assort.
	4. Remove a crosspiece, having wrapped up an insulating tape of a shlitsa of a semi-axis, and remove a cover.
5. Check a condition of details.
6. Collect and establish the hinge upside-down.
7. Grease a crosspiece with the greasing delivered in ремкомплекте.
Double-offset type CV JOINT
8. Dismantling assembly are carried out according to numbers of positions (see fig. Details of the CV JOINT of the Double-offset type of the left semi-axis).
9. When dismantling designate labels an initial relative positioning of a separator and an internal holder of the CV JOINT and a semi-axis which at assembly combine.
10. Grease a holder and a hinge separator with the greasing delivered in ремкомплекте, establish balls.
	11. Fill an external holder with greasing approximately on 1/3, establish a lock ring and collect the CV JOINT. With the rest of greasing fill a reverse side of the hinge or a cover.

Replacement of covers of CV JOINTS

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The replacement procedure of a cover of the internal CV JOINT practically differs nothing from a dismantling order (see above).

2. The cover of the external CV JOINT acts in film after removal of the internal CV JOINT and removal of collars.

3. At assembly about 1/2 greasings put in the hinge and 1/2 – in a new cover.

4. Replace cover collars.
