Alarm hands of indexes of turns / alarm system

At inclusion of indexes of turns the alarm hand will work in unison with external indexes of turns. At turning on of the alarm system both alarm hands will start to blink.

Alarm lamp of inclusion of headlights of a driving beam

The dark blue lamp is lit, when headlights of a driving beam join.

The indicator of the included transfer of an automatic transmission (for models with an automatic transmission)

At key turn in the ignition lock in the situation ON the lamp of illumination of the indicator lights up, and the indicator shows, what transfer is included on an automatic box.

The alarm bulb warning about an open door

This alarm lamp is lit, if any of doors is open or closed leaky.

Before the beginning of a trip check, that this alarm lamp was switched off.

Alarm lamp of brake system

This alarm lamp lights up, when a key in the lock of ignition will turn in the situation ON (the engine is switched off).

After engine start the lamp should go out. If to put the car on the parking brake or if level of brake liquid falls below a certain level, the lamp will light up.

Before getting under way from a place, remove the car from the parking brake and check, that the alarm lamp went out. If the alarm lamp does not die away after the car was removed from the parking brake, it testifies to malfunction of the switch of a lamp or that level of brake liquid fell in a tank below a certain level.

Check level of brake liquid in a tank. If it is too low, it is necessary to find and eliminate the reason of fall of level of brake liquid. Before to operate the car dangerously.

Prevention

If to muffle the engine after removal of the car from the parking brake, the alarm lamp will light up, it is the normal phenomenon. the lamp will go out after engine start.

Alarm lamp of system of anti-blocking of brakes (if it is established)

The alarm lamp lights up in case of malfunction in system of anti-blocking of brakes. It also lights up at key turn in the ignition lock in the situation ON, after engine start it should go out.

Always check, that the lamp went out before going to a trip.

If the lamp lights up when driving, stop the car and muffle the engine. Check ABS system, having started the engine and having passed on the car with speed about 10 km/h and is higher during 20 with or more long. If the alarm lamp goes out, everything is all right. If the lamp does not go out or will light up again, means in system of anti-blocking of brakes there is a malfunction and only the usual brake system functions.

In this case address to experts for check and ABS system repair.

Prevention

If the lamp does not die away after engine start, it means that only the usual brake system, without ABS system (see subsection 11.16) functions.

Alarm lamp and the sound signal, warning about need to be fastened by a seat belt

At key turn in the ignition lock in the situation ON the alarm lamp will light up on 4–8 with even if the driver was fastened.

If the driver was not fastened at key turn in the ignition lock in the situation ON, the sound signal will sound approximately during 4–8 with for a reminder to the driver that it is necessary to fasten a seat belt.

If to be fastened during this period of time, the sound signal will stop.

The alarm lamp warning about low level of fuel

The alarm lamp lights up, if fuel level in a fuel tank decreases approximately to 11 l.

It is recommended to fill a fuel tank as soon as possible after the alarm lamp will light up.

Prevention

Do not operate the car with very low level of fuel: if you terminate fuel, catalytic converter can be damaged.

System indicator cruise control

This indicator will light up at system inclusion cruise control.

The indicator of an operating mode of a transmission (if it is established)

If a key in the lock of ignition to turn in the situation ON, one of PWR or HOLD indicators will light up.

At inclusion of a normal operating mode of a transmission both indicators should go out.

The indicator of switching off of an overgear (model with an automatic transmission)

This indicator will light up, when the switch of raising transfer will be transferred to the situation OFF (Is switched off).

Alarm lamp of an overheat of liquid of an automatic transmission (model with an automatic transmission)

The alarm lamp of an overheat of liquid of an automatic transmission lights up, when the temperature of liquid of an automatic transmission rises too strongly. Excessive temperature increase of liquid of an automatic transmission is usually caused by severe conditions of operation of the engine and a transmission. Usually reduction of speed of operation of the engine and quieter driving with smaller speed of dispersal allow cooling liquid to return to normal temperature then the alarm lamp should go out. If it does not die away, lower turns of the engine and stop the car. Then include parking transfer and leave the engine to work in an idling mode. Wait, the alarm lamp will not go out yet. When the alarm lamp will go out, it will be possible to go further. If the alarm lamp does not die away, address to experts for engine and transmission check.

Prevention

If level of transmission liquid is lowered, it can promote an overheat of a transmission and its premature wear.

On cars on which the automatic transmission with possibility of switching of modes of its work is established, the alarm lamp of an overheat of cooling liquid can start to blink, if in a control system of a transmission there is a malfunction. When the alarm lamp blinks, the safety mechanism which keeps constant speed of movement turns on, but does not allow the engine to work at full capacity at dispersal or on lifting. If the alarm lamp of an overheat blinks, it is necessary will address to experts for transmission and engine check (cм. subsection 1.16.8).

Control lamp of work an engine / lamp warning about emergence of malfunction

This alarm lamp lights up, if fails monitoring system of exhausts any of elements, the system does not work normally and level FROM above norm.

This alarm lamp also lights up at key turn in the ignition lock in the situation ON and then dies away in some seconds.

If it lights up when driving or does not light up at key turn in the ignition lock in the situation ON, address to experts for check of the monitoring system of exhausts.

The lamp warning about need of maintenance

In order that the system of fall of toxicity of an exhaust worked regularly, it is necessary for checking periodically. The alarm lamp lights up after 80 000 km of run, 130 000 km of run and 160 000 km of run, warning that is necessary to inspect system of fall of toxicity of an exhaust.

If the alarm lamp lights up, address to experts for check and service of system of fall of toxicity of an exhaust.

Prevention

If you continue to operate the car at a burning alarm lamp, it can negatively affect work of system of fall of toxicity of an exhaust.

Alarm lamp of low pressure of oil (if it is established)

The alarm lamp lights up, when pressure of oil falls below normal level. If the lamp lights up when driving, stop and muffle the engine as soon as possible and do not operate the car while the reason of pressure decline of oil will not be eliminated. The alarm lamp does not show oil level in an engine case. Level of oil is necessary for checking with the help щупа for measurement of level of oil at the idle engine.

Prevention

If level of oil is strongly lowered, it can lead to engine damage.

Alarm lamp of system of a battery charging

The alarm lamp lights up at key turn in the ignition lock in the situation ON (the engine is switched off). After engine start the lamp should go out. If it continues to burn after engine start, possibly, at system of a battery charging there is a malfunction. In this case address to experts for system check.

Alarm lamp of an airbag of safety

The alarm lamp lights up, if the system of an airbag of safety is faulty. It also lights up approximately on 7 with later after key turn in the ignition lock in the situation ON or after engine start. After the lapse of 7 with a lamp dies away.

Check lamp work each time at engine start.

If it does not light up, or burns more long, than 7 with, after key turn in the ignition lock in the situation ON or after engine start or if it lights up when driving, address to experts for check of system of an airbag of safety (see subsection 1.9.2).

OFF – all headlights are switched off

The parking lamp, lobbies and back marker lights, lamp of illumination of back registration plate or lamp of illumination of an instrument guard are included

OFF – headlights of head light are included

Turn the lever to include headlights of head light.

The sound signal warning about inclusion of headlights of head light

If to open a door of the driver when the key in the lock of ignition is in the situation LOCK or ASS or if it to get from the ignition lock when the lever of inclusion of headlights is in the provision of $, the sound signal reminding to the driver of need of switching off of headlights will be distributed.

Transfer the lever to the situation OFF, the sound signal will stop.
