The regulator increases stability of the loaded car at sharp braking and is mounted in a back part of a frame. Operation of the valve is defined by a tension of a spring which presses on the lever with a certain effort. On the unloaded car established on an equal platform, the length of a spring measured across should be 224–228 mm.
Removal and installation
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Disconnect a spring. |
| 2. Designate and disconnect tubes. |
| 3. Unscrew bolts and remove a regulator. |
| 4. At installation tighten the union of tubes with the moment of 17 N of m, adjust a spring and pump over brakes. |
