ELECTROMAGNETIC VALVE

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the socket from the vacuum pump.
2. Check resistance between pairs of conclusions 1–2 and 1–3 which should be 60 Ohm.
3. Check valve operation at battery connection between pairs of conclusions 1–2 and 1–3.
4. Replace the valve if its work differs from the described.

DRIVE

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the socket from the vacuum pump.
2. At battery connection between conclusions 1–4 drive should rotate.
3. Otherwise a drive replace

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Remove a drive guard.
Cars of 1988-91.
3. Release nuts of covers of cables and disconnect cables from a drive.
4. Disconnect from a drive the socket.
5. Unscrew 3 nuts and remove a drive.
6. Disconnect wires from an accelerator, the switch of a signal of braking, the sensor of switching off of coupling and a delay mechanism, remove switches.
7. Remove a combination of devices (see fig. subsection 13.16), remove from a speedometer the sensor of speed.
8. Remove from a steering column the switch cruise control.
9. Remove an overlay of an aperture of a forward door, an overlay of a powder, a lateral casing and the control unit.
10. Installation of the removed knots of system is carried out upside-down.
11. Nuts of cables tighten with the moment of 8-11 N of m.
Cars of 1992-98.
12. Disconnect all cables from the coulisse.
13. Unscrew 4 nuts and remove the coulisse.
14. Unscrew a bolt and remove an arm.
15. Disconnect from the vacuum pump the socket and a hose and remove the pump.
16. Unscrew 3 nuts and remove a pump arm.
17. Remove a drive.
18. Installation of the removed knots of system is carried out upside-down.
19. Adjust cables, having executed the following.
Accelerator cable
20. Keeping the coulisse With and resting against the limiter, wrap a nut of a cover of a cable so that the free wheeling of a cable was 2–3 mm, tighten a lock-nut.
Butterfly valve cable
21. Keeping the coulisse In and resting against the coulisse With, wrap a nut of a cover of a cable at the released bolt so that the free wheeling of a cable was 1–2 mm, tighten a lock-nut.
Cable cruise control
22. Keeping the coulisse And and resting against the coulisse In wrap a nut of a cover of a cable so that the free wheeling of a cable was 1–2 mm, tighten a lock-nut.
