 Dismantling and assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Lift the car.
3. Merge from a transfer case oil.
4. Designate the provision of flanges of driveshafts, unscrew nuts, disconnect a flange and get a shaft from transmission (or a transfer case).
5. Remove a dustproof cover, hook and take an epiploon.
6. Assembly is carried out upside-down.
7. A new epiploon press an opravka (MIT3995 and MB990938-01 tools) before combination of the plane of an epiploon with a case of a check point (transfer case).
8. At assembly combine the labels of driveshafts put at dismantling.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Remove transmission assembled with a transfer case.
3. Remove a refueling branch pipe, turn out jams.
4. Remove a spring of a clamp and a plunzher (or a ball).
5. Remove a podpruzhinenny pin from ползуна box switchings.
6. Unscrew nuts / bolts and remove a transfer case.
7. Pay attention to the provision of 2 wire clamps of bolts of fastening of a transfer case.
8. At separation of cases remove the lever of a transfer case.
9. Installation is carried out upside-down.
10. Replace laying and establish on hermetic 3M ART N 8001 or N 8011, having greased with both parties. Grease a secondary shaft of transmission that will facilitate its installation in a transfer case.
11. Tighten all connections according to the demanded moments.
12. The Podpruzhinenny pin (2) press in ползун (1) transfer case by means of the MD998245-01 adaptation (it is allowed to small beards).
13. The pin groove at a press fitting should be turned definitely (sustain the size of 3-3,5 mm) (1 – an axis of symmetry of a shaft of management of a transfer case).
