1.16.5. Overgear switch

GENERAL INFORMATION

Overgear switch

a–switch

At usual driving the switch of an overgear should be switched on (the button is pressed). The alarm lamp of switching off of an overgear on an instrument guard will be switched off.

At the pressed button the transmission will automatically carry out switching with 1st on the 4th transfers when the lever of an automatic transmission is in situation D.

If it is necessary for you to speed up or use quickly braking by the engine at movement downhill or if you overcome an abrupt slope, the button on the lever of an automatic transmission is necessary for pressing again to switch off it.

On an instrument guard the alarm lamp warning about switching off of an overgear will light up, and the transmission automatically will carry out switching only with 1st on the 3rd transfers.
