9.3.2. The blocking switch

CARS OF 1983-86.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Remove the selector handle, having pressed the button and having released screws.
3. Remove the central section, unscrew screws and remove the index of position of the selector.
4. Disconnect the socket from the switch, unscrew screws and remove the switch from the selector.
5. Installation is carried out upside-down.
6. Adjust position of the switch (see subsection 9.3.2.1).

CARS OF 1987-89.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Remove floor section, the handle of the selector and the index of position of the selector.
3. Disconnect the socket from the switch, unscrew screws and remove the switch from an arm.
4. Installation is carried out upside-down.
5. Adjust position of the switch (see subsection 9.3.2.1).

CARS OF 1990-98.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Lift the car.
3. Transfer the selector to situation N.
4. Disconnect from the switch a drive cable (on transmission).
5. Disconnect the socket from the switch, unscrew a bolt and remove the switch from a transmission case.
6. Installation is carried out upside-down.
7. Adjust position of the switch (see subsection 9.3.2.1).
