GENERAL INFORMATION

Check and tension adjustment

For check of a condition of a belt turn the engine a starter, looking through a belt on all to length. At detection of any defects or wear signs a belt replace. For check of a tension of a belt press a belt in the middle between pulleys and check depth of a deflection of a belt. Measure size of a deflection of a belt which should be 6–10 mm at effort of 9 kgfs.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. If it is necessary to adjust a tension of a belt of the generator or the pump of the hydraulic booster, release a bolt of an axis of the unit.

2. Then a bolt of fastening of the unit in an arm cut.

3. Move the unit, having pulled (or having released) a belt and tighten bolts upside-down.

4. On late models the tension of a belt is regulated by moving of a roller of a natyazhitel by rotation of a nut of a directing hairpin at the released lock-nut of an axis of a roller.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

For removal of a belt execute the same actions, as at adjustment, only take away a pulley (or the unit) so that a belt it was possible to remove and dress the new. It is forbidden to dress a belt, making excessive effort. Previously be convinced that the belt completely corresponds to the removed.

GEAR BELT

Check integrity of a belt, lack of traces of oil and liquid. The belt changes through each 96000 km. An order of removal look in subsection 3.4.29, subsection 3.4.29.2, subsection 3.4.29.3.
