GENERAL INFORMATION

– parking transfer

Parking transfer supplements the parking brake, locking an automatic transmission when the car is necessary for parking.

When the lever of an automatic transmission is in this situation, the engine can be started.

At a car parking, besides inclusion of parking transfer, put the car also on the parking brake.

Prevention

If the pedal of a brake is not squeezed out, the interlock let's switch the lever of an automatic transmission from the provision of parking transfer to other situation.

Never include parking transfer at car movement.

– backing transfer

Switch the lever of an automatic transmission in this situation only after the car completely will stop.

– neutral transfer

When finding the lever of an automatic transmission in this situation the engine can be started.

Prevention

Always squeeze out a brake pedal when switching the lever of an automatic transmission of situation N (neutral transfer) in the provision of other transfer. It is dangerous, as the car can move sharply forward or back.

Include this transfer at movement on the highway or on the city.

– second transfer

Include this transfer when driving on small speed on the city with high intensity of traffic or on mountain roads when bigger control over the car is necessary.

Also include this transfer when overcoming long steep slopes or for braking by the engine at not so abrupt descent.

– low gear

Include this transfer when overcoming very steep slopes and for braking by the engine on abrupt descents at speed of movement of 40 km/h or less.
