11.8. Regulator of pressure of back brakes (1992-98)

GENERAL INFORMATION

The regulator increases stability of the loaded car at sharp braking and is mounted in a back part of a frame. Operation of the valve is defined by a tension of a spring which presses on the lever with a certain effort. On the unloaded car established on an equal platform, the length of a spring measured across should be 224–228 mm.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a spring.
2. Designate and disconnect tubes.
3. Unscrew bolts and remove a regulator.
4. At installation tighten the union of tubes with the moment of 17 N of m, adjust a spring and pump over brakes.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
For adjustment release a bolt and move an arm.
